Georgia Institute of Technology's Tech Tower

Georgia Institute of Technology’s Distance Learning has provided high-quality, technologically superior courses—graduate and noncredit professional development—for more than 30 years.

Our unit, Distance Learning and Professional Education, has been helping individuals for more than 80 years. As the technology has advanced so have we.

Online Master's Degrees

Founded in 1977, Distance Learning educates more than 600 students each year through an extensive and comprehensive catalog of more than 100 semester-based credit courses that rivals traditional programs.

Our dedicated staff includes 15 instructional media specialists who digitally capture lectures and course assignments with state-of-the-art equipment. Graduate course materials are posted online within 24 to 48 hours for students on every continent except Antarctica—and, yes, we are looking for that special student to study there. Learn More >

Whether it be in our master’s degree courses for noncredit or earning Continuing Education Units, our students receive the same technical support and assistance.
